Backstory

2017: I graduated from Igbinedion university, Nigeria, where I studied pharmacy.
2018/’19: I was a pharmacist for a year, but also took a year’s break from that path to explore multiple interests and figure out what I wanted to commit to in life. I created the Inpharm magazine, The Fashion Info, literary works, and a thrift clothing business during this period of figuring.
2020: Chose writing as a career, joined a boutique research firm as a writer, took multiple courses on human behavior and content, created the Strange View podcast, joined Moe Odele’s Scale My Hustle community, all of which trained me on the art of creating and building a business.
2021: Interned briefly at The Republic and joined a new startup, Naush Labs, as a content strategist. Was awarded a scholarship by Udacity x Access Bank, which cemented the concept of content marketing in my brain.
2022: Took an eight-month hiatus from work in the middle of the year. I wanted the type of growth I have today—to work on quality-demanding and mentally stimulating projects—but it took its fine time to arrive in 2023.
Not a backstory: I’m interested in multiple subjects and love pursuing things I’m curious about (peep: projects) + thinking about how bringing ideas into the world can alter the life of another human (yes, I care a lot about creativity and human connection).
Another not a backstory: I LOVE tea, enjoy playing with LLM tools, and design pretty sketchnotes.
